Rollers stretch their legs

The Rollers continued their pre-season preparations on Sunday, with eight team members showing up at Milnerton for a two-hour net session.

With the first game less than two weeks away, Ryan, Neville, Claude, Cornell, Jacques, Darren, George and Jakes braved the heat to try and rid the bowling arms of any cobwebs and aches.

And a good session it was, especially with two former Koeberg bowlers, Claude Louw and Darren MacGuirk, turning their arms over and showing they can still bowl a mean ball.

The fixture list has also been finalized with 12 matches confirmed, as well as the three matches that comes with the Golden Oldies in March.

October 19 – Scorpions

October 26 – Edgemead

November 9 – Coastal Strikers

November 16 – Cape Town CC

November 23 – Bellville Willows

January 18 – Groot Drak

February 1 – Gardens

February 15 – Squirrels

February 22 – Strand

March 1 – WPCC

March 15 – Claremont Gents

March 28 – Elgin

About West Coast Rollers

Founded in the early-90s, the West Coast Rollers is a social cricket side that has become so much more than that - we are a brotherhood that just happen to be quite good at cricket and even better at drinking.
